 That You Probably Don't Want To Hear!



COUNTING STEPS

So your pedometer says you've done 10,000 steps at the end of the day, as you proudly share it in social media. Well truth be told we probably have all taken that amount of steps today, we just haven't counted them. Don't get me wrong, it's good to be active, but exercise it is most certainly not. There's a distinct difference between physivcal activity & exercise. Try and kid yourself and you won't be getting the results you want. 



SALAD IS NOT AN ANTIDOTE

"I had a cheeseburger but it's ok as I had a salad with it" Sound familiar? Well it may sound better but it doesn't make the burger healthy. Salad isn't an antidote, you can't start thinking your meal is healthy just because you add a salad to it.


THE NUTRIBULLET

Err it's just a blender guys. It costs about £100 and is a third of the size of my £15 Sainsburys blender which does exactly the same thing. Apparantly calling it Nutribullet has  convinced a great number people that no matter what you put in it, its going to be healthy,,,well played Nutribullet, well played.


A FRY UP IS A GOOD HANGOVER CURE

In what world and on what planet will a good fry up soak up the alcohol consumed from the night before. Oh how we wish this were true...but it's not. In fact the best thing you can have the next day for the hangover from hell is lots of water, carbohydrates and protein. Guess what the worse think you can have is ? Yep, fried, high fat foods..err like a fry up.
